I understand how difficult it can be to decide to start therapy and choose the right psychologist. So here are a few facts that I hope will help you make your decision.
Deep, high-quality education
I am a qualified psychologist, and I continue to study and develop professionally. My work is based on evidence-informed methods that have stood the test of time.
I am in personal therapy and supervision myself
For me, this is a way to stay clear-headed and make sure I do not bring my own issues into your story.
My colleagues trust me
People come to me with a wide range of concerns — and psychologists themselves also come to me for therapy. Colleagues also recommend me to their friends and family. For me, this is a special responsibility and a sign of trust that I value deeply.
Outside psychology, I am an ordinary, real person
I love deep, dramatic, or socially charged films — the kind you keep thinking about for two days afterward. I dream of travelling more and finally learning to wake up earlier.
A few words about my personal life
I have been happily married for 12 years — even though my husband and I are very different people. It seems the theory about opposites attracting may actually work after all.
I have a cat named Fiamma, and I adore her
If you become my client, you may sometimes see her sleeping behind me. I am always happy to see animals in sessions. If your cat or dog decides to join us — they are very welcome :)
